With competitors ranging from southern and central Alberta, spectators are entertained with two and a half hours of pure rodeo and incredible events that cater to everyone. The community created by athletes, locals, and people from afar prove that this is much more than a rodeo – it’s an event that supports education, agricultural heritage, and Western contemporary lifestyle. We believe that education surrounding the agricultural industry is important and honour those who made this rodeo possible by bringing a new wave of ideas while also staying true to our roots. We also honour our sponsors and the surrounding community, as without their strong support this event would not be possible.
Here’s what’s planned for you:
Friday evening, July 19 - The sanctioned Rodeo and Family-Friendly Beer Gardens.
Saturday, July 20 - Our regular Farmers’ Market, heritage and educational demonstrations and booths, children’s area to learn about the agricultural heritage of our Western roots, our sanctioned Rodeo, Children’s Mutton Busting, Family-Friendly Beer Gardens, and our evening Family Cabaret featuring live entertainment by The Backroad Traveler Band.
